The Doctor Trilogy

I
Enlightened Infection (Clinical Depression)

Infuse me with your wisdom,
Your sutures hold me well.
The maggots keep leaking out,
But an enema will keep them still.

Give me a better diagnosis,
There are no pills to conquer this.
Tell me again how long I have,
I need to hear it before I fall.

Wrap me up tighter,
We must keep this illness at bay!
Apply pressure where it aches..
Something will break eventually.

Constrict my veins soon,
The parasites are mutating.
Rapid revelations keep you busy --
Help me, doctor, I'm wasting away.

Defend your notion of sanitation,
This septic bath sickens me.
Confuse me with your prevention,
My rash grows thicker still.

Induce my delusions
And encourage my ailments.
Let me grow crazier still.
We know who'll get paid.

Enlighten me with your economy,
Mealworm menus leave you dazed.
Digesting dietary experiments --
At least you're here beside me.

II
Mismanaged Maladies

The barely competent quack-jobs
Make gutteral sounds of apathy,
With energetic sympathy unleashed
They ejaculate hysterical introspections.

The moist abdominal bandages barely hide
The necessity of venereal solutions untried,
Adapted contaminations quickly lead to
Freely-flowing malarious menstruations.

With abnormal affections lingering,
the possessive practitioners apply
Only the most vigorous electrotherapy to dissolve
Their recreational trends towards responsibility.

Alternate contractions develop in congested insomnia,
The insane tendency for perspiration to congeal,
Destroys instrumental tissues left carelessly exposed.
Abnormal cerebral apoplexy -- the antiseptic stimulation!

Cauterized by fermented fruity farts,
The appetite of an invalid is at stake.
Yet again, the indivisible dictactors overtake,
Irritating pulsating varicose veins out of spite.

Instead of consulting the source of the constipation,
They stir up interesting internal intestinal worms.
Breeding with maximum post-mortem purification,
The inflammation reaches proportional velocity.

The sanitary sensation of anesthesia denied,
Silenced cries of agony accuse the guilty --
The murderous apostles of reckless medicine!
Rejected political preventions hold us all hostage.

A demonstrational injection of common excreta
Draw glancing greediness in the multiplying epidemic.
The triumphant disfiguration dilates the bunions,
Destroying the adequate insanity derived from the intoxication.

III
Chemical Confusion (Medical Maladies)

He stands apparently apologetic
Hesitating through restrained recommendations.
While remaining unfailingly polite,
He applies a harmless arsenic supplement.

Forever lost in self-induced chemical confusion,
Holding out for one more refreshing deuterium drink,
He knows that frightful purgatory awaits patiently.
He's dreadfully sorry about his impressive addiction.

Leaving a mistreated milky cataract unattended,
He has no sympathy for the mutilated inventory.
There's plenty of empathy for an awful plight,
But nothing felt for something for with a mild rash.

Amongst the properly pre-soaked paraphernalia,
Gangly gangrenous goobers hang in a dainty display.
Silent suffering creates a medical mystery,
Giving way for considerable damnation's way.

A feverish quest for nightly nauseating naphtha
Leaves him with an expression of fatalistic dullness.
The essential extent of his incurable intoxication
Holds him firmly in outbreaking delirium's dreams.

With growing contempt of festering faces,
He becomes supposedly paranoid anew;
Restorative regulations never stop changing:
Slipping suppositories always escape, regardless.

Investigative experiments quickly reveal
The predominant disease's illustrative injury,
Sickening stimulus focused by creative destruction
Impregnates the patient with putrid infections.

He looks down with deep, burning shame,
Observing the casual completion still at hand --
Erupting cheeks display the meaningful distrust;
How could he be so unfairly forgetful?
